Sixth Form Study

Coleraine Grammar School is a large voluntary grammar school situated on the Castlerock Road. It has well over a thousand pupils and almost a quarter of them are in sixth form. Many of the pupils who start Y13 have already been studying at the school but each year there are many pupils come to Coleraine Grammar School from other schools. This may be because of the subjects delivered at the school, the extracurricular provision, the extensive career guidance, the transport links or simply that their friends are at the school. Whatever the reason you will be made very welcome at CGS.

The school buildings are going through a considerable refurbishment and by September 2024 we will have a new state of the art Sixth Form centre, along with new music and home economic facilities. The river pavilion and games hall have recently been updates and a new fitness suite and media studies suite are also being added amongst other things.
